Are you visiting Eastbourne on holiday or have a friend or relative coming to stay? We can offer pavement scooters such as a Shoprider Sovereign 4 or portable scooters that can be dismantled to go in a car. Most coach companies are very accomodating and take scooters on their coaches. PLEASE DO CHECK WITH THE COACH COMPANY IN ADVANCE. Recently some coaches have declined to take the class 2 pavement scooters so please do check and if needs be I will supply a lighter version. You can see our reviews on Facebook and Google.
Self propelled and transit wheelchairs are available for £30 for 3 days with an additional £5 per day thereafter.
We try to be as flexible as possible so if you need it for a different length of time please contact us. You will need to make sure that you can store and charge the scooter indoors or somewhere dry and secure so please check with your accomodation. I am sorry but we do not offer 1 day hire, please see shopmobility at The Beacon/Arndale Centre for that.
I will not take a deposit off you on the phone when you book, it is unfair that you should lose money if you have to cancel your holiday. I will take a card payment for the scooter over the phone one week before your holiday. If you prefer to pay by Cheque you can post it or we can arrange another way that suits you.
Power Chairs often available as are rollators, if you need anything mobility related please ask and I will do what I can to help. We always do our best, we even supplied a rollator to a hotel on New Years eve, they called at 4 pm and it was delivered at 5pm so the customer could enjoy their break.
It is advisable to book as far in advance as possible.
We cover a radius of 10 miles from Eastbourne, if you are further away a small fee will be required to cover fuel costs.
You take full responsability for the scooter whilst using it and it must be kept in a secure place when not being used.
If you are considering buying a mobility scooter why not consider buying a quality used scooter? At a fraction of the cost you can buy one that has been fully serviced and sold with a warranty. You can hire a scooter to see how you get on, if you like it I am happy to sell it to you and deduct any monies that you paid for hiring it.
