Repairing your mobility scooter yourself DIY

THE LADY MENTIONED BELOW HAS HAD A STROKE AND ONLY HAS THE USE OF ONE ARM, ONE WORD... INSPIRING.

I had a lady contact me looking for an EBrake for her scooter, she had been to her local mobility shop and they had quoted her £250 to repair it and this was too expensive for her. So she thought that she would reapir it herself, it is not that difficult to change, take the rear wheel off and then remove 3 screws. I sold her the part for £55 so she saved herself £195! And most importantly didn't give extortionate amounts of money to the company, I am not sure how they justify over £200 for a maximum 30 minutes work.

So if you live too far away from me and do not want to pay the huge charges some make then why not try a bit of DIY? I will always help if I can and offer advice and guidance..... Anything to stop some companies overcharging.
